Starting off on the road to playing guitar well is daunting,not least regarding what tutorial sources are worth your time and pennies. Try this then - Tom Fleming's The Ultimate Guitar Tutor. It's a bold title,but it does do a good job at priming you from posture to strumming rhythm exercises,and chord shapes to string bends. Throughout there are short examples to hone your skills and a generous amount of songs to learn by Elvis Presley,Nirvana and REM. As a tenner would rarely get you an hour's tuition with a guitar teacher these days,we reckon even if you have a few beginner books already this one should be added to the pile!
